This committee’s primary goal is to maintain membership retention and promote goodwill throughout the Chamber. Ambassadors are the welcoming representatives at Chamber Breakfasts, Business After Hours, Ribbon Cuttings and Special Events.

This committee enhances business development in the area and also provides programs, services and educational opportunities. Committee members coordinate business building seminars and speakers, the annual Business and Community Expo and Small Business Person of the Year selection.

This committee creates activities and programs to enhance the communication and understanding between the business community and all of the public and private educational institutions in the Davie/Cooper City area. In addition to providing the
program for the November Education Breakfast, the committee promotes business and school partnerships and mentoring programs and administers the annual grant and scholarship for the Education Foundation.

This committee seeks to protect interests and further encourage economic development of the Davie/Cooper City community through evaluation of pending legislation and maintaining the lines of communication and discussion with governmental
entities at all levels. The committee coordinates candidates’ night forums, coordinates the annual legislative appreciation breakfast and provides feedback to the Board on proposed economic development projects in the Davie/Cooper City communities.
